Bertrand Chamayou is interviewed at home in the French newspaper Le Figaro today on the release of his new Saint-Saëns album. Recorded with the Orchestre national de France and maestro Emmanuel Krivine, the disc was No.1 in the French classical charts in its first week of release.

He spoke to the same publication about other projects that are ‘shaking up ideas about classical music‘, notably his entrancing dance project with music for prepared piano by John Cage, a major commission from composer Michael Jarrell, and his appearance in a synth trio with Francesco Tristano and François Lambret.
