Saint-Saëns: Sonates & Trio

Bertrand Chamayou is joined by violinist Renaud Capuçon and cellist Edgar Moreau for three of Camille Saint-Saëns’ finest chamber works, rarely performed and even more rarely recorded: Violin Sonata No. 1, Cello Sonata No. 1 and Piano Trio No. 2: “essential French Romantic chamber music” according to Chamayou. 2021 marks 100 years since the death of this master of French music.
